Job summary

ADT’s Resale Sales Representative role focuses on reactivating interest with customers who already know ADT, reintroducing modern security solutions, and rebuilding trust. You’ll present tailored proposals, close deals, and follow up after installation to drive referrals and ongoing relationships.

The position rewards high performance with uncapped commissions and strong training; travel within a designated territory is required, and you’ll join a team focused on growth, service, and life safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to travel within a designated territory using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; additional licensing may be needed based on location.
• Comfortable using technology to stay organized, efficient, and accountable in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Self-motivated and results-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset; you thrive on uncovering new leads and closing deals that deliver real value.
• Strong communicator and natural relationship builder, able to consult with customers, understand their needs, and guide them to the right solution.
• Adaptable and flexible; you excel in dynamic environments and enjoy learning new systems and approaches.
• Consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Re-engage previous customers, not cold-calling strangers; shorter sales cycles, higher conversion rates, and lasting relationships.
• Provide personalized solutions combining security, automation, and life safety features tailored to space and lifestyle.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals highlighting benefits over competitors.
• Conduct post-installation follow-ups with customers to confirm commitments and generate referrals.
• Identify and generate new sales leads to maximize outreach.
