US Foods in Louisiana is hiring a Fleet Maintenance Technician to service diesel equipment, perform preventative maintenance to DOT standards, and respond to road calls.

You will document repairs in the fleet software, mentor staff, and may travel for training. Must have 3 years hands-on Reefer/Refrigeration tech experience, TK/Carrier certifications, own hand tools, and reading/writing skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience as a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician.
• TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certifications.
• Willingness to travel for training.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot reefer equipment repairs.
• Experience administering a preventive maintenance program.
• Must furnish own personal hand tools.
• Able to read/write and perform basic math; read manuals.
• Welding ability is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, and repair diesel equipment including tractors, trailers, bobtails, and lift gates.
• Perform preventive maintenance to DOT standards.
• Receive road calls, coordinate third-party vendors and action plans.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per safety rules.
• Document repairs and parts used in fleet software tablet.
• Backup to other maintenance staff; mentor colleagues as needed.
• Pursue increased responsibilities and certifications as available.
