US Foods, Inc. is seeking a skilled Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician to keep our diesel fleet safe and reliable at our Destrehan, LA area facility. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair reefer equipment, perform DOT-compliant preventive maintenance, and coordinate with partners to resolve road calls.

The role requires 3 years of hands-on experience, TK/Carrier certifications, and the ability to read manuals and use fleet maintenance software. Tools provided; welding preferred.

Competenze

• 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician; TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certifications.
• Willing to travel and attend training provided by US Foods.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to reefer equipment repairs.
• Demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience administering appropriate PM program.
• Must furnish own personal hand tools.
• Able to read and write legibly; basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals.
• Experience using fleet maintenance software preferred.
• Welding ability preferred.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
• Receive road calls, coordinate with third party vendor and plan action with partners.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in line with safety rules and regulations.
• Document repairs using fleet maintenance software tablet.
• Backup to other maintenance shop personnel.
• Mentor other maintenance shop personnel.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
