Qualifications

• 1 year experience with HVAC or Refrigeration maintenance preferred.
• Excellent team player.
• Desire to learn and grow technical skills from more experienced mechanics.
• Experience placing work orders.
• Experience maintaining a parts inventory.
• Diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience generating reports in different software systems.
• Ability to perform physical demanding tasks and work in various environment conditions.
• Willingness to teach new team members.

Responsibilities

• Asses, document, and fix equipment including generator sets and refrigeration containers.
• Perform pre-trips on containers and generator sets.
• Perform routine checks to prevent equipment failures.
• Adjust and replace faulty parts to ensure equipment functionality and safety.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain daily records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and inspections.
• Reports on priorities and work plan to the Refrigeration Superintendent.
• Perform daily housekeeping and preventative maintenance duties.
• Perform other duties within other departments as needed.
