Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Reefer Mechanic.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Experience placing work orders.
• Experience maintaining a parts inventory.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience generating reports in different software systems.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying environments.
• Willingness to teach new team members.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair reefer containers and gensets.
• Prepare daily and weekly maintenance reports.
• Assess, document, and fix other site equipment.
• Set daily/weekly maintenance goals and provide guidance.
• Perform diagnostic work with appropriate testing equipment.
• Conduct routine checks to prevent equipment failures.
• Replace faulty parts to ensure safety and functionality.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain daily maintenance schedules, repairs and inspections logs.
• Report priorities and work plans to Maintenance Superintendent.
• Perform daily housekeeping and preventative maintenance duties.
