Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year experience with HVAC or Refrigeration maintenance preferred.

• Experience placing work orders and maintaining a parts inventory.
• Ability to generate reports and work across software systems.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

The Reefer Technician is a vital member of the Maintenance and Repair team within RMG. The Reefer Technician's primary responsibility is the maintenance and repair of generator sets and refrigeration containers in order to keep the facility in working order. Other job duties include performing pre-trips, training new hires, and other operations as needed. The Refrigeration Department is fast paced and requires individuals to effectively communicate when working with heavy machinery. The Reefer Technician must maintain a safe yet efficient mindset when maintaining facility equipment to best assist and support with the successful onward movement of customer cargoes.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Asses, document, and fix equipment including generator sets and refrigeration containers
