Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Red Team Penetration Tester to conduct offensive cybersecurity operations for DoD and US Government systems. You will collaborate with Blue Team and Cybersecurity professionals to enhance overall cyber posture.

Active Secret clearance is required; Top Secret with SCI eligibility preferred. Applicants must be US citizens to obtain clearance and work on sensitive programs.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years' experience in software engineering applied to DoD or IT systems.
• Active Secret Clearance is required; Top Secret with SCI Eligibility preferred; US citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows in enterprise networks.
• Experience with common penetration testing tools and red-team operations.
• Proficiency in scripting and development languages: Python, C, C++, Go, Perl, PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Debug and reverse engineer software.
• Analyze Windows events and Linux logs.
• Develop and debug Web 2.0 apps and scripts.
• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in code and systems.
• Operate systems across UNIX, Linux, and Windows environments.
• Apply NSA-approved encryption technologies and STIGs.
• Contribute to system and security documentation.
