Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill is hiring a Recycling & Warehouse Manager for the Bannister team in Kansas City. The role oversees warehouse and recycling operations, budget adherence, and staff supervision to deliver exceptional service to donors and customers.

We require a High School Diploma/GED, with three years in Retail/Warehouse/Logistics management, plus a valid MO/IL driver’s license and strong leadership and communication skills. Flexible schedules and a mission-driven environment offered.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED required; some college preferred.
Three years of Retail, Warehouse, or Logistics Management.
Valid MO or IL driver’s license and insurance required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including customer service, conflict resolution and teamwork.
Leadership skills including decision-making, goal-setting and problem-solving; ability to motivate and lead employees.

Responsibilities

Oversee Warehouse and recycling operations, resources, and budgets to hit goals.
Model values to uphold safety, ethics and quality.
Supervise, direct, and train staff to perform core duties.
Provide superior customer service to ensure donor/shopper retention and de-escalate issues.
Coach employees on performance and discipline as needed.
Assign daily duties to achieve operations tasks.
Identify and promote high performers for advancement.
Protect company property and information; report theft or misconduct.
