Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic Recycling & Warehouse Manager to lead the Bannister operation in Kansas City. The role focuses on overseeing recycling and warehouse activities, budgets, staff, and ensuring safety and quality standards while delivering excellent donor and customer service.

The ideal candidate has three years of retail/warehouse/logistics management, a valid MO or IL driver's license, strong leadership and communication skills, and comfort with scheduling

Qualifications

• Three years of Retail, Warehouse, or Logistics Management experience.
• Valid MO or IL state driver’s license and insurance required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including customer service, conflict resolution, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Warehouse and recycling operations, resources, and budgets to meet goals.
• Model core values and promote safety, ethics, and quality in the store.
• Supervise, direct, and train staff; ensure they perform core duties.
• Provide superior customer service to ensure donor and shopper retention; de-escalate issues.
