Certified Waste Solutions in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Sorter to oversee the daily sorting line operations and ensure accurate separation of recyclable materials. Responsibilities include identifying materials, manual sorting by type, removing contaminants, and assisting with material movement and palletizing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred
• Experience in recycling or waste management is a plus
• Ability to distinguish recyclable materials accurately
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks

Responsibilities

• Identify and differentiate materials entering the facility
• Sort materials manually by type (paper, plastics, cardboard)
• Remove non-recyclables to prevent contamination
• Move materials to designated bins and assist in organization
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE
• Assist supervisors with special projects and daily tasks
• Report equipment issues and support loading/unloading as needed
