Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is hiring a Sorter to efficiently sort recycled materials at the MRF. You will inspect items, separate commodities, and place materials by grade on a conveyor line while following safety protocols.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to work in a team, and capacity for physical tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting. Pre-employment testing and English communication skills are required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to perform physical duties (standing, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling).
• Must be legally eligible to work in the US and complete pre‑employment testing.
• Good verbal communication and ability to read/write English.

Responsabilidades

• Sorts recycled materials on the conveyor belt by commodity and grade.
• Operates safely in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and reports system problems.
• Performs basic plant equipment cleaning and housekeeping.
• Participates in safety trainings and maintains attendance records.
• Contributes to training and continuous improvement activities.
