Z. Wilson Talent Solutions is partnering with a national acute care organization that owns and operates hospitals across the country to identify an experienced Recruiting Manager. This individual will help lead the recruiting function while overseeing clinical and non-clinical recruitment for an assigned geographic region.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can develop a team, standardize recruiting practices, lead organizational change, and build strong partnerships with hospital and corporate leadership. The Recruiting Manager will also maintain an individual requisition load and directly support priority searches.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters supporting an assigned geographic region.
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment for clinical and non-clinical positions across multiple hospitals.
- Maintain an individual requisition load and directly recruit for priority or difficult-to-fill positions.
- Establish clear expectations, performance standards, and accountability across the recruiting team.
- Standardize recruiting workflows, processes, communication practices, and service expectations.
- Monitor recruiting activity, pipeline health, time to fill, candidate flow, and other performance measures.
- Partner closely with hospital executives, human resources leaders, hiring managers, and corporate leadership.
- Develop proactive recruiting strategies based on workforce needs, market conditions, and operational priorities.
- Set realistic expectations with leaders and provide timely, transparent updates regarding recruiting progress and challenges.
- Identify process gaps and lead changes that improve efficiency, consistency, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes.
- Support recruiters with sourcing strategies, candidate assessment, stakeholder management, and difficult searches.
- Promote a collaborative, service-oriented culture while holding the team accountable for results.
- Help strengthen the organization’s overall recruiting model as it continues to grow and evolve.
Required Qualifications
- At least four years of full-cycle recruitment experience in the healthcare industry and at least three years of recruitment management experience is required.
- Experience recruiting clinical or non-clinical talent in the healthcare industry required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead recruiters while maintaining a personal requisition load.
- Experience developing and standardizing recruiting processes across multiple locations or business unit while managing a goal and metric centric team.
- Strong coaching, performance-management, and team-development skills.
- Proven ability to lead change and gain support from employees and organizational leaders.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to hold a team accountable while maintaining a supportive and collaborative leadership approach.
