Qualifications

  • 5+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience required.
  • H.S. Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare or corporate recruitment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops sourcing strategies to identify top talent for shared services roles.
  • Builds relationships with leaders, hiring managers, and the TA team.
  • Manages requisitions and tracks progress in the hiring process.
  • Posts jobs on LinkedIn, Indeed, and the career site; identifies marketing opportunities.
  • Screens applicants and conducts interviews to assess fit.
  • Coordinates interview schedules and ensures a positive candidate experience.
  • Negotiates offers and guides onboarding including background checks.

With healthcare delivery systems in 32 distinct markets across 12 states, CHS operates 60 affiliated hospitals with more than 8,000 beds and approximately 800 other sites of care, including physician practices, urgent care centers, freestanding emergency departments, imaging centers, cancer centers, and ambulatory surgery centers.

Job Summary

The Key Talent Recruiter is responsible for executing talent acquisition strategies to attract, engage, and hire top talent for facility based executive roles in alignment with the organization's goals. This role collaborates with Key Leaders, Hiring Managers, and Talent Acquisition team to develop effective recruitment plans, build candidate pipelines, and ensure a seamless hiring experience. The Key Talent Recruiter leverages sourcing expertise, technology, and relationship-building skills to fill open positions efficiently while fostering a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.

Our office is located in Franklin, TN. This role is hybrid and does require in office days at the discretion of leadership.

Essential Functions
  • Develops and executes effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent, including passive candidates, for a variety of shared services positions.
  • Builds strong relationships with Key Leader, Hiring Managers, and Talent Acquisition team providing consultation and guidance throughout the recruitment process.
  • Establishes rapport with internal and external candidates to foster trust and engagement.
  • Creates and manages requisitions for open positions, ensuring timely approvals and tracking progress throughout the hiring process.
  • Posts and refreshes job advertisements on various platforms, including LinkedIn, Indeed, and the organization’s career site, and identifies new marketing opportunities to enhance visibility.
  • Screens applicants, conducts in-depth interviews via phone, video, and in-person, and evaluates candidates’ qualifications to determine fit for roles.
  • Coordinates interview schedules with hiring managers and candidates, ensuring seamless communication and a positive candidate experience.
  • Negotiates job offers with selected candidates to achieve successful outcomes, balancing organizational and candidate needs.
  • Provides onboarding support by ensuring timely completion of pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screening, and documentation for orientation deadlines.
  • Communicates benefits, job expectations, and other relevant information to candidates prior to their start date.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date candidate data in applicant tracking systems and builds talent pipelines for frequently hired positions.
  • Delivers rejection communications with professionalism and a customer-service approach, fostering long-term relationships with candidates for future opportunities.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers and leadership during strategy meetings to clarify expectations, align on processes, and provide regular status updates.
  • Advises hiring managers on selection decisions based on candidate feedback, assessments, and references.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • H.S. Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

  • Proficiency in leveraging technology, including applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn, and other recruitment tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, hiring practices, and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Problem‑solving and negotiation skills to achieve successful hiring outcomes.
  • Commitment to providing an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience.
Licenses and Certifications
  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
