Job summary

American Games (Council Bluffs, IA) & International Gamco (Omaha, NE) are seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This entry-level role supports recruiting, onboarding, and candidate engagement across two busy facilities.

You’ll work with the Recruitment Specialist to manage postings, screenings, interviews, and new-hire processes. Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn recruiting workflows and HR systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
• Internship or up to two years in recruiting, HR, administration, or customer service preferred.
• Experience interviewing candidates and coordinating recruiting activities is a plus.
• Experience using ATS or HRIS is preferred; strong communication skills required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Support daily recruiting and onboarding for American Games and International Gamco.
• Coordinate hiring process from job posting through onboarding with hiring managers.
• Post job openings on ATS, career site, and recruiting platforms; screen resumes.
• Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews and communicate next steps.
• Schedule interviews and provide timely updates to applicants.
• Maintain candidate records, requisitions, and recruiting data in ATS.
• Assist with opening, updating, and closing job postings as needs change.
• Help maintain HR documents, interview materials, and recruiting templates.
• Coordinate pre-employment activities and onboarding logistics for new hires.
• Support onboarding schedules, orientations, and cross-team communication.
• Create a welcoming first-day experience and assist with HR events and projects.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with sensitive information.
