Senior Recruitment Consultant - New York Office

Our New York office is at the heart of our North American operations, complementing our global presence in London, Singapore, Dubai, and across the UK . We're now looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to help us grow our client base and expand our impact in the U.S. market.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant at We Are Aspire in New York, you will take the lead in business development, client management, and talent acquisition . You'll be responsible for the full recruitment cycle-from identifying business opportunities and sourcing candidates to advising clients and negotiating offers. You'll also mentor junior consultants , contributing to a high-performing, collaborative team culture.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Identify and develop relationships with U.S.-based clients , understanding their hiring needs and business challenges.
  • Advise clients on market trends, salary expectations, and recruitment strategies .
  • Utilise a consultative sales approach to present top talent to clients.
  • Network across industries to build a pipeline of business opportunities.

Candidate Sourcing & Evaluation

  • Use multiple sourcing methods, including headhunting, networking, job boards, and LinkedIn Recruiter , to find high-caliber candidates.
  • Conduct thorough interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Guide and mentor junior consultants , supporting their professional growth.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in recruitment and client management.
  • Stay up to date on trends in the U.S. job market, salary benchmarks, and talent availability .
  • Provide insights that shape our recruitment strategies and approach in the U.S. market.

Negotiation & Offer Management

  • Act as the liaison between clients and candidates during the offer stage, ensuring smooth negotiations.
  • Advise on compensation structures, benefits, and contract terms .

Compliance & CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate candidate and client records in CRM .
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. labor laws and internal company policies .

What We're Looking For

We want someone driven, and passionate about recruitment who can thrive in the competitive New York job market . Ideally, you will have :

Proven recruitment experience (preferably in media, digital, marketing, or sales sectors).

Strong understanding of the U.S. recruitment landscape and industry best practices.

Exceptional communication & negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.

A consultative sales approach to advising clients on talent solutions.

Strong business development & relationship-building abilities .

A proactive, results-driven mindset , with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.

Familiarity with recruitment software & CRM tools (Bullhorn, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.).
