Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Project Manager to lead Recruiting Transformation projects, turning strategy into scoped plans, milestones, and outcomes. You’ll partner with program leads and cross-functional teams to drive delivery across business and technical domains.

You will manage scope, timelines, risks, and change control, while reporting progress to executives and adapting plans as priorities shift. This contract role emphasizes collaboration and results.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing projects from initiation through close-out with scope, schedule, risk, and quality.
• Expert skills in planning, capacity planning, and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and tools.
• Familiarity with recruiting/talent acquisition processes and systems (ATS, sourcing, interview lifecycle) is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work with virtual and global teams of varying backgrounds and seniority.
• Strong influencing/negotiation skills with experience leading large projects.
• Formal project management training/education.
• Certification such as PMP or CAPM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of Recruiting Transformation projects with defined scope, milestones, and success criteria.
• Maintain detailed plans, timelines, and RAID logs; identify and mitigate risks; manage change control.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and manage dependencies to keep deliverables on time and within budget.
• Interact daily with development, support, and global process owners to shape program plans.
• Track and report project status, metrics, and health to stakeholders and leadership.
• Own project documentation including charters, status reports, and meeting notes.
• Communicate updates clearly across teams and plan change management activities.
• Facilitate meetings, drive decisions, and provide leadership to project teams.
• Conduct post-project reviews and prepare readouts for executives.
