Job summary

Help At Home is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to build talent pipelines and attract qualified applicants. You will research community resources, colleges, agencies, and online sources, presenting opportunities and company benefits to candidates.

The role requires strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a valid driver’s license with insured transportation to support monthly or quarterly travel. Bachelor’s degree preferred; 1–2 years in recruiting is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office and standard business software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and relationship-building.
• Valid driver's license and access to insured transportation.

Responsibilities

• Builds talent pipelines by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
• Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications. Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements and using a variety of reactive and proactive recruiting techniques.
• Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
• When applicable, arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.
• Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.
• Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
• Meets and/or exceeds Recruiting Department and overall Organizational goals.
