Help At Home, a nationwide home care provider, is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to help build talent pipelines and attract qualified caregivers and staff for our growing team in Dearborn, Michigan.

You will source candidates through colleges, community services, job boards, and partnerships, conduct interviews, coordinate interviews, and help shape recruitment policies to improve our organization’s appeal. The role offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Builds talent pipelines by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
• Attracts applicants by posting job advertisements and using a variety of reactive and proactive recruiting techniques.
• Interviews applicants; analyzes responses; compares qualifications to job requirements.
• Coordinates scheduling of management interviews when needed.
• Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and qualifications with managers; conducts interviews on a consistent basis.
• Recommends new policies and practices to improve organizational attractiveness and compensation practices.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Builds talent pipelines by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
• Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications. Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements and using a variety of reactive and proactive recruiting techniques.
• Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
• When applicable, arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.
• Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
• Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
• Meets and/or exceeds Recruiting Department and overall Organizational goals.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:

• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or a relevant field preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
• One (1) to two (2) years of previous experience.
• Prior experience in recruiting or talent acquisition preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary – ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with others to exchange information.

Travel Requirements

• Monthly or quarterly travel required
