Job summary

Help At Home is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to build talent pipelines, screen applicants, and coordinate interviews across communities nationwide. You will craft job advertisements, assess qualifications, and partner with managers to meet hiring goals.

The role requires strong communication, MS Office proficiency, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Travel monthly or quarterly is expected, supporting a mission-driven team that helps clients live independently.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Builds talent pipelines by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
• Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications. Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements and using a variety of reactive and proactive recruiting techniques.
• Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
• When applicable, arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.
• Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
• Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
• Meets and/or exceeds Recruiting Department and overall Organizational goals.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or a relevant field preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
• One (1) to two (2) years of previous experience.
• Prior experience in recruiting or talent acquisition preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary – ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with others to exchange information.

Travel Requirements

• Monthly or quarterly travel required
