Job summary

Help At Home, the nation’s leading provider of home care services, is seeking an onsite Recruiting Specialist in Spring Valley, NY. You will build talent pipelines, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and help shape caring teams that empower clients to live independently and with dignity.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recruiting experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Competitive pay, weekday schedule, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or a relevant field preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build talent pipelines by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites.
• Determine applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and qualifications; attract applicants by posting ads and using recruiting techniques.
• Conduct interviews and assess qualifications against job requirements; coordinate interviews when needed.
• Improve organizational attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitor offers and compensation practices.
• Meet and/or exceed Recruiting Department goals; perform duties as assigned.

Help at Home is hiring an onsite Recruiting Specialist in our Spring Valley location! We offer weekly pay between $21-24 an hour! Office hours Monday-Friday 8:30a.m.-5:00p.m. The office location is: 2 Perlman Drive Spring Valley, New York 10977 .

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Builds talent pipelines by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
• Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications. Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements and using a variety of reactive and proactive recruiting techniques.
• Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
• When applicable, arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.
• Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
• Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
• Meets and/or exceeds Recruiting Department and overall Organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or a relevant field preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
• One (1) to two (2) years of previous experience.
• Prior experience in recruiting or talent acquisition preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary – ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with others to exchange information.
