Help At Home in Patchogue, NY is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to build talent pipelines and manage full-cycle recruitment in a local onsite setting.

You'll research community resources, post ads, interview applicants, and coordinate interviews while ensuring a positive candidate experience. Weekly pay ranges from $21 to $24 per hour, with standard office hours Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred; HS diploma accepted.
  • 1–2 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office with strong communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Builds talent pipelines by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications. Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements and using a variety of reactive and proactive recruiting techniques.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • When applicable, arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.
  • Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
  • Meets and/or exceeds Recruiting Department and overall Organizational goals.

Help at Home is hiring an onsite Recruiting Specialist in our Patchogue location! We offer weekly pay between $21-24 an hour! Office hours Monday-Friday 8:30a.m.-5:00p.m. The office location is: 1 S Ocean Ave Ste 214, Patchogue, New York 11772.

Qualifications
What You'll Bring
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.
  • Professional communication and organization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or a relevant field preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of previous experience.
  • Prior experience in recruiting or talent acquisition preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Sedentary - ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with others to exchange information.
