Help at Home is seeking an onsite Recruiting Specialist in Patchogue, NY to build talent pipelines and manage full-cycle recruitment. You’ll research community resources, colleges and agencies, craft compelling postings and pre-screen candidates to match job requirements.

• Attracts applicants by job ads and recruiting techniques.
• Interviews applicants; analyzes responses; compares qualifications to job requirements.
• Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules when needed.
• Evaluates applicants with managers; discusses requirements and qualifications.
• Supports policy improvements, compensation practices and benefits messaging to enhance attractiveness.
• Meets and/or exceeds recruiting department and organizational goals.

Help at Home is hiring an onsite Recruiting Specialist in our Patchogue location! We offer weekly pay between $21-24 an hour! Office hours Monday-Friday 8:30a.m.-5:00p.m. The office location is: 1 S Ocean Ave Ste 214, Patchogue, New York 11772.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Builds talent pipelines by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
• Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications. Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements and using a variety of reactive and proactive recruiting techniques.
• Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
• When applicable, arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.
• Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
• Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
• Meets and/or exceeds Recruiting Department and overall Organizational goals.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:

• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.
• Professional communication and organization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or a relevant field preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
• One (1) to two (2) years of previous experience.
• Prior experience in recruiting or talent acquisition preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary – ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with others to exchange information.

Pay Range

USD $21.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr.
