Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking a Staffing Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team at our headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL. The role partners with hiring managers to source, interview, and assess top candidates for the organization.

You will build relationships with executives and managers, create compelling job descriptions in Taleo, and contribute to process improvements to drive faster, higher-quality hires. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of recruitment experience.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interacting with all levels of staff.
• Proficient with MS Office; experience with an ATS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand organizational recruiting needs, identify talent, and recommend candidates for hire.
• Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers, executives, and potential candidates, delivering great service.
• Find and hire employees who align with Power Design’s values and role criteria.
• Create and maintain search engine optimized job descriptions and the Taleo library.
• Participate in department projects and process improvements to boost efficiency and success.

• Participate in department projects and process improvement efforts to increase efficiencies and success.

• Bachelor’s degree and three (3) or more years of relevant recruitment and/or staffing experience required.
• Must be able to establish priorities, have a drive for quality results, meet deadlines and multitask.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively and professionally interact with all levels of staff and management, with discretion as needed.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet strict, changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with applicant tracking systems preferred, but not required.
