Job summary

StructureTec Group is seeking a Recruiting Intern for a part-time, on-site role in Kalamazoo, MI. The intern will support the Talent Acquisition team with posting openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating logistics.

Ideal candidates will show interest in recruiting, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and be enrolled in or recently completed a program in HR, Business, or Psychology. On-site collaboration across teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Interest in Recruiting and Hiring, with ability to assist sourcing and evaluating candidates.
• Basic interviewing and candidate screening skills or willingness to develop them.
• Strong communication skills, including writing and verbal interaction with candidates and team.
• Interest or experience in training and onboarding support, including preparing materials.
• Enrollment in or recent completion of a program in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with applicant tracking systems is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site in Kalamazoo, MI and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Role Description

The Recruiting Intern is a part-time, on-site role based in Kalamazoo, MI. This role supports the Talent Acquisition and HR team with day-to-day recruiting activities, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews. The intern assists with candidate communication, maintains applicant tracking records, and helps coordinate interview logistics. Additional responsibilities may include supporting onboarding activities, preparing recruiting materials, and contributing to campus outreach or career events. The position offers exposure to the full recruiting process and an opportunity to learn best practices in talent acquisition within a construction and consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest in Recruiting and Hiring, with the ability to assist in sourcing and evaluating candidates.
• Basic Interviewing and candidate screening skills, or willingness to develop these skills under guidance.
• Strong Communication skills, including clear, professional writing and confident verbal interaction with candidates and team members.
• Interest or experience in Training and onboarding support, including preparing materials and coordinating new hire activities.
• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools; familiarity with applicant tracking systems is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site in Kalamazoo, MI and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
