We're currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support operations and recruitment efforts across our Great South Bay (West Babylon, NY) and Gateway Plaza (Patchogue, NY) locations. This role will also have you working alongside our Chief Operating Officer from the practice’s home office location in Riverhead, NY.

Our offices are warm, welcoming environments where collaboration and creativity thrive. In this role, you'll be an integral part of the team, supporting the Human Resources Department and Chief Operating Officer ensuring our overall talent and operations run smoothly.

Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities

Recruiting

• Own recruitment efforts across both Practice locations—from crafting compelling job postings to finalizing offer letters.
• Collaborate closely with our admin and marketing teams to align hiring strategies and strengthen our talent pipeline.
• Partner with Team Leads and the COO on hiring decisions, creating thoughtful training schedules, and ensuring each new hire has a smooth and welcoming pre-onboarding experience
• Work hand-in-hand with our HR Specialist to make onboarding seamless, compliant, and engaging.
• Work with our marketing department on recruitment strategies to enhance our talent acquisition.
• Optimize our Career Plug system to support efficient hiring and top-notch candidate experiences.
  
  
  

HR Operations

• Support HR compliance through accurate filing and documentation.
• Help evolve our New Hire Ambassador Program by mentoring Ambassadors and enhancing the experience.
• Track and file team “check-ins” across departments, and guide Team Leads in implementing ongoing development strategies.
• Act as a liaison with external consultants to coordinate training opportunities, and collaborate on all-staff meetings and trainings as needed.
• Provide flexible support on recruitment and HR compliance tasks at the direction of the HR Specialist.
  
  
  

Human Resources Generalist Requirements

• Undergraduate degree and previous Human Resource and or recruitment experience preferred.
• Expert PC skills, especially Excel
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
• Out of the box thinker, always looking at how to work “smarter" and more efficiently.
• Reliable, proactive, and committed to providing great service
• Team-focused and eager to learn and grow.
• Comfortable with team development and understanding of how to bring out the best in people, commitment to do so.

We give plenty of support and we’re with you every step of the way! You start your BDC journey with a 15-day Global Training and your own Ambassador to walk you through it all. Our intention during the beginning days is to introduce you to BDC's entire service and give you customized and individualized, specific training needed to master your role as a Human Resources Generalist.

We expect you to be personally responsible for being on time and present for every shift you work and always willing to go the extra mile for our patients!

Babylon Dental Care Perks:

Competitive Compensation: Earn a yearly salary of $55,000 to $65,000, reflective of your skills and dedication.

Comprehensive Benefits: Enjoy paid holidays, personal time off, sick time (as per NYS law), health insurance options available, a $2500 dental credit for your own dental needs within the Practices and a 401K with employer match. Monthly team bonus opportunities are extended. Most benefits start after your probationary period of 90 days. You start accruing sick time from day one, as per NYS and the Practice extends PTO within year one.
