Job summary

SNELLING is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support the HR team for a local client. This onsite role starts as a temporary assignment with potential to convert to full-time based on performance and business needs.

You will handle candidate responses, prescreens, interviews scheduling, background checks, and onboarding tasks in Paycom, while maintaining precise records across locations in Texas. Onsite only, with a focus on 10 field technician openings.

Qualifications

• Professionalism and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong documentation skills and ability to take notes independently.
• High attention to detail and understanding compliance-driven processes.

Responsibilities

• Review candidate responses to job postings on Indeed, reply to applicants, and schedule phone prescreens.
• Conduct phone prescreens with candidates, asking thoughtful questions and documenting responses.
• Recommend qualified candidates to HR for virtual interviews with HR and location manager.
• Enter candidate information accurately into a background check service for compliance screening.
• Send and follow up on onboarding steps in Paycom to keep hires moving forward.
• Maintain organized, accurate notes and records throughout the hiring process.
