Job summary

Community Options, Inc. in Charleston, SC is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to lead full lifecycle recruitment for our local staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and alignment with mission.

You will build relationships with candidates, manage interview scheduling in the HRIS, onboard new hires, and support program operations across our Charleston region. This role offers growth within a national nonprofit and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of recruiting or HR experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficient in recruiting candidates using multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment and development for assigned region.
• Maintain applicant and interview data in HRIS and track flow.
• Develop relationships with candidates and referrals.
• Screen candidates and schedule interviews.
• Extend offers of employment to selected candidates.
• Conduct reference and background checks.
• Onboard new employees in HRIS and programmatic platforms.
• Facilitate new hire training and orientation.
• Maintain training records to meet state requirements.
• Oversee HRIS workflows and document approvals.
• Represent Community Options at job fairs and events.
• Assist management with program operations and scheduling.
• May manage administrative staff including evaluations.
• Cooperate with licensee and department staff during inspections.
• Additional tasks may be assigned.
