Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator based in Pottsville, PA to manage all local staff recruitment and hiring of support staff. This role covers full lifecycle recruitment for assigned region(s) and works with management to support program operations.

Starting pay is $24.00 per hour. The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and at least 1 year of recruiting or HR experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in recruiting or HR.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Proficient using multiple recruiting platforms: LinkedIn, Indeed, Zip Recruiter, referrals.
• Knowledge of local regulatory agency operations and HRIS basics.
• Strong problem solving with multiple priorities; team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment and development efforts for assigned region(s).
• Maintain applicant and interview data in the HRIS and track flow.
• Develop and retain relationships with candidates and referrals.
• Screen candidates and schedule interviews.
• Ensure new hires meet employment requirements and regulations.
• Extend offers of employment to selected candidates.
• Conduct reference and background checks.
• Onboard new employees in HRIS and program platforms.
• Facilitate new hire training and orientation.
• Maintain and audit training records for state requirements.
• Oversee HRIS workflows and document submissions/approvals.
• Represent Community Options at job fairs and community events.
• Assist management with program operations and scheduling.
• May manage administrative staff and perform evaluations.

Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states.

We are seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to based out of our Pottsville, PA location -to manage all local staff recruitment and hiring of support staff. The Recruiting Coordinator attracts talented staff to support our mission and help improve the lives of people with disabilities. This person will be responsible for the full-lifecycle recruitment of support staff for assigned region(s). This person will also work with management to support local program operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment and development efforts for assigned region(s)
