Job summary

C Lazy U in Colorado seeks a Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist to lead full-cycle recruitment for all Ranch positions, including high-volume, seasonal roles. You will collaborate with managers to identify needs, write compelling job ads, attract quality candidates, and guide the interview process from start to offer.

You will also own onboarding for new hires, coordinate with Paylocity ATS, perform background checks, manage records, and ensure a smooth, welcoming first day.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years’ recruiting experience; must have some high-volume, seasonal recruiting.
• Hospitality environment experience a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work on-site, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Paylocity or other ATS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including screening, interviewing, offers and onboarding.
• Research online sources and post job ads for openings through recruitment sites.
• Build local networks and community relationships to increase Ranch visibility.
• Prepare screening questions and conduct phone interviews.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure timely, quality interviews and feedback.
• Perform background checks and collect required documents.
• Coordinate immigration recruiting with third-party vendors as needed.
• Conduct orientation for all new hires on their first day.
• Maintain recruiting and onboarding tasks in Paylocity and keep records updated.
• Partner with HR to maintain personnel records.

Description

The Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist leads full-cycle recruitment for all open positions at the Ranch, including high-volume, seasonal roles. This position will work closely with managers to identify their need, write a compelling job ad, use creative sources to attract high quality candidates and shepherd the interview process. n addition, this position is responsible for onboarding all new employees ensuring a seamless new hire experience and a welcoming environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including recruitment, screening, interviewing, selection, offer letters, and new hire onboarding.
• Research online sources and posts job ads for job openings through recruitment sites.
• Builds strong local networks and creates community relationships to create visibility for the Ranch
• Prepare screening questions and conduct phone interviews for all candidates
• Holds managers accountable to effectively interview candidates, provide timely feedback and complete all tasks in Paylocity ATS
• Perform reference and/or background checks for prospective new hires.
• Confirm all required document including proper certifications and waivers are received on or before first day arrival.
• Supports all immigration recruiting (J1, H2B) coordinating with third party vendors and legal counsel as needed
• Conducts orientation for all new hires on their first day. Prepares orientation materials and follows up on questions in a timely manner.
• Completes all recruiting and onboarding tasks in Paylocity ensuring data is accurate and timely.
• Collaborate with the HR team on the maintenance of all personnel records.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years’ recruiting experience; must have some high-volume, seasonal recruiting
• Working experience in hospitality environment is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working on a small guest-oriented team to pitch in wherever needed in support of Ranch needs.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Working experience with Paylocity or other ATS platforms required
• Ability to work on-site, as well as evenings and weekends, as needed.

PAY AND BENEFITS:

Starting pay range is $25-27 per hour plus gratuity pool. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including health medical, dental and vision insurance, PTO, Sick, 401k, and more.
