Job summary

Workforce Brokers LLC is hiring a Recruiting & Event Manager to lead staffing for special events and high-volume assignments across the Washington DC-Baltimore area. The role oversees candidate recruiting, staffing plans, rosters, scheduling, and on-site operations.

You will serve as the primary client contact and ensure compliance, timekeeping, and smooth event execution. This urgent hire requires hands-on leadership, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple events, including

Qualifications

• Experience in staffing, recruiting, or event/hospitality management.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple events under tight timelines.
• Willingness to work event hours, including evenings/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and screen candidates for event roles (servers, bartenders, cooks, ushers, captains, supervisors, and more)
• Build event-specific staffing plans, including overfill and backup rosters
• Manage the full staffing cycle: rosters, scheduling, confirmations, and onsite check-in/check-out
• Run onsite event operations, including resolving callouts, monitoring performance, and handling issues in real time
• Serve as the primary client contact before, during, and after each event
• Ensure accurate timekeeping, payroll documentation, and compliance (I-9, E-Verify, background checks, certifications)
