Job summary

MFort Security Services is a Chicago-based provider of contract security services seeking a part-time Recruiter to join our HR team, with strong potential to transition to full-time. The ideal candidate will connect great people with great opportunities and handle postings, interviews, onboarding, and records.

You will manage job postings, interview candidates, coordinate onboarding, and ensure calendars stay up to date while maintaining files and strong communication across the team.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid Illinois PERC card and 20-hour security training certificate (or ability to obtain).
• Strong computer and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and organization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct recruitment tasks including phone and in-person interviews.
• Maintain and update the interview calendar and candidate pipeline.
• Manage and post job listings across multiple platforms (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Coordinate and conduct onboarding for new hires.
• Assist with uniform fittings and employee file setup during onboarding.
• Organize and assemble employee personnel files.
• Keep all job postings and recruitment records current.
• Provide weekly recruitment updates for team meetings.
• Coordinate and conduct onboarding for new hires.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills and a passion for connecting great people with great opportunities.

You will play an essential role in our recruitment process — managing job postings, interviewing candidates, coordinating onboarding, and ensuring our records and calendars stay up to date.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Location: 5320 W Lawrence Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60630

• Pay Range: $47,000-55,000 annually
