Allpoints Land Survey, LLC is seeking a Recruiter & Onboarding Specialist to support full-cycle recruiting and coordinate a smooth onboarding experience for field, operational, and corporate hiring needs. The role partners closely with hiring managers to align recruiting activity with priorities and help ensure timely hiring outcomes in a hybrid Houston setting.
Recruiting and Hiring Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment from job requisition through candidate selection, offer, and acceptance, maintaining a timely and professional process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to clarify staffing needs, position requirements, qualification expectations, and hiring priorities.
- Source and attract qualified candidates using job boards, Allpoints’ Applicant Tracking System (ATS), social media, networking, career fairs, colleges, and additional recruiting channels.
- Build and maintain qualified candidate pipelines for both current and anticipated openings, including active and passive candidates.
- Coordinate the interview and selection workflow, including scheduling interviews, preparing interview materials, and facilitating communication between candidates and hiring managers.
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies based on role requirements, industry practices, labor market conditions, and organizational needs, while supporting Allpoints’ employer brand.
- Administer the offer process, including determining compensation within Allpoints’ compensation structure, preparing and extending offers, and coordinating with HR staff and hiring managers as needed.
- Complete pre-employment screening and verification activities, including background checks, credential verification, and drug screening as applicable.
Onboarding Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding from offer acceptance through the employee’s start date, ensuring required steps, documentation, and approvals are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate new-hire records and documentation in the HRIS and ensure completion of required employment forms, agreements, and onboarding requirements.
- Coordinate new-hire logistics and orientation, including start dates, orientation schedules, meeting locations, travel and accommodations, and communication of next steps to new employees and hiring managers.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience handling all phases of recruitment and the hiring process.
- Experience with sourcing, candidate screening, interview coordination, and recruiting processes.
- Experience using Paylocity HRIS, ATS, or other recruiting systems.
- Experience using LinkedIn, Indeed, and other job boards.
- Experience recruiting in a blue-collar, skilled-trade, surveying, construction, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, field-services, or similar environment.
- Experience with background checks, drug screening, employment documentation, and new-hire orientation.
- Strong time management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus strong interpersonal skills and negotiation tactics.
- Comfort and confidence holding self and others accountable to time-to-fill and time-to-hire metrics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.

Location and Work Schedule
Houston, TX (hybrid). This role follows a five-day (5) workweek in the Houston office, Monday through Friday, with eligibility for hybrid work upon meeting requirements.
