Job summary

Snider-Blake Personnel is offering a recruiter internship in Elyria, OH. The role focuses on supporting recruiting activities, candidate screening, and orientation processes while learning the staffing industry.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support recruiting, screening, interviewing and placing candidates.
• Assist in New Hire Orientation for every candidate placed.
• Ensure accuracy of candidate pool information in the Applicant Tracking System
• Act as Payroll liaison between associates, branch managers, onsite managers and corporate office
• Answer payroll, direct deposit, health benefits, scheduling questions.

Full job description For over 60 years Snider‑Blake Personnel has provided temporary staffing services to companies in Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana and North Carolina. We are seeking a motivated candidate for our recruiter internship program in our Elyria Office. This internship will provide candidate with opportunities to learn more about the staffing industry and gain a vast amount of experience in human resources.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support team in recruiting, screening, interviewing and placing candidates on job assignments
• Assist in executing New Hire Orientation for every candidate placed
• Ensure accuracy of candidate pool information through the monitoring of our Applicant Tracking System
• Act as a Payroll liaison between associates, branch managers, onsite managers and corporate office
• Ability to answer frequent questions regarding payroll, direct deposit, health benefits, scheduling, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a four‑year college degree
• Exceptionally strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Excellent follow through on commitments, using sound judgment with the ability to recognize and handle sensitive/confidential information
• Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Desire to learn and gain experience in human resources

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday
