Job summary

ABEC in Springfield, MO is seeking a Recruiter to own the full-cycle hiring process, partner with leaders, and craft a positive candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.

You will source talent for manufacturing and skilled labor, screen applicants, manage interviews, travel for events, and ensure recruiting practices meet company policies and EEO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of recruiting or HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or high-volume recruiting.
• Experience with ATS and sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and HR to understand staffing needs and create effective recruiting strategies.
• Source talent through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, community outreach, and events.
• Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and maintain a strong pipeline for manufacturing and skilled labor roles.
• Build relationships with candidates while providing timely, professional communication.
• Represent our company at career fairs, workforce events, and community programs.
• Track recruiting metrics and continuously improve processes to enhance the candidate experience.
• Support a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
• Ensure recruiting practices align with company policies and EEO standards.
• Occasionally travel for recruiting events, including some weekend opportunities.

What You Bring

• Experience with sourcing tools, ATS systems, and recruiting best practices.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive mindset and passion for finding the right people for the right opportunities.
