Job summary

ABEC is seeking a System Service Technician to install and modify ABEC systems at customer facilities worldwide, working with a skilled service team of professionals. This hands-on role blends mechanical assembly, troubleshooting and project execution, with safety and schedule as top priorities.

You will travel up to 80% to support customers, conduct system walkdowns, resolve items and contribute to process improvements with accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical assembly and safe work practices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and work in manufacturing/customer sites.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
• Experience with electrical assembly or continuous-improvement knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify and troubleshoot ABEC systems at customer sites
• Coordinate daily activities and project expectations with customers

ABEC is seeking a System Service Technician to install and modify equipment at customer facilities alongside a skilled team of service professionals. This hands‑on role combines mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, customer interaction and project execution. You’ll help bring complex systems online while ensuring work is completed safely, professionally and on schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Install, modify and troubleshoot ABEC systems at customer sites


• Coordinate daily activities and project expectations with customers


• Guide team members through technical, procedural and material‑related challenges


• Support project scoping, labor estimates and process‑improvement efforts


• Report progress, materials and scheduling needs to project management


• Complete system walkdowns, resolve outstanding items and support customer handover


• Maintain ABEC tools and equipment in safe, certified working condition
