Job summary

EmergencyMD is seeking a Recruiter in Santa Ana to manage full-cycle recruiting for client staffing needs. You will source, screen, interview, and place qualified candidates while building a robust talent pipeline and delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities include coordinating interviews, maintaining ATS records, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. A background in staffing or recruiting plus strong communication is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of recruiting, staffing, customer service, or sales experience preferred.
  • Staffing industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, job fairs, and community outreach
  • Review resumes and conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews
  • Screen candidates based on client requirements, qualifications, and experience
  • Match qualified candidates with client job openings
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of candidates for current and future staffing needs
  • Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and clients
  • Meet daily recruiting goals, including calls, interviews, placements, and starts
  • Coordinate new hire paperwork, I-9 completion, E-Verify (if applicable), background checks, and drug screenings
  • Ensure all candidate records are accurately entered and maintained in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Verify employee availability and maintain an active candidate database
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and all federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Contact employees daily regarding job opportunities and work availability
  • Conduct wake-up calls and attendance confirmations before scheduled shifts
  • Follow up with employees after their first day and throughout their assignments
  • Respond promptly to applicant inquiries via phone, email, text, and walk-ins
  • Assist with employee relations and professionally resolve associate concerns
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with applicants, employees, clients, and hiring managers
  • Assist with recruiting events, job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach activities
  • Utilize social media, WhatsApp groups, and other recruiting tools to attract candidates
  • Work closely with Account Managers, Sales Representatives, and Branch Managers to prioritize recruiting efforts
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support branch operations

Position Summary:

The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, screening, and placing qualified candidates to meet client staffing needs. This role partners with branch management, clients, and applicants to ensure open positions are filled efficiently while delivering outstanding customer service. The Recruiter also builds and maintains a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through creative recruiting strategies, networking, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Staffing
  • Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, job fairs, and community outreach

Job Requirements:
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Experience
