We are seeking an experienced Recruiter who is passionate about connecting people to meaningful work and understands the impact great hiring can have on the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role plays a critical part in helping The Arc of San Diego attract and hire mission-driven employees who support our programs, services, and clients every day.
This is not an entry-level recruiting role. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, manage a diverse requisition load, and build strong partnerships with hiring managers across the organization. Success in this role requires consistency, attention to detail, strong follow-through, and the ability to proactively engage candidates.
You will be managing 20+ positions across a variety of programs, partnering closely with hiring managers, and working as part of a collaborative, results-driven team.

Schedule: Mon- Fri 8a-430p (Onsite position)
Pay: The pay for this position is $25.00 to $25.00.

A Typical Day Will Include
- Full-cycle recruiting for multiple positions across the organization:
- Developing and posting job advertisements
- Sourcing and screening candidates
- Interviewing candidates through multiple channels
- Managing candidates throughout the hiring process
- Extending offers and welcoming new employees to The Arc of San Diego
- Building and maintaining candidate pipelines for difficult-to-fill and high-volume positions.
- Managing candidates through multiple recruitment platforms and systems, not just a single ATS.
- Providing consistent communication and partnership to hiring managers.
- Attending recruiting and networking events as needed.
- Supporting organizational hiring goals while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

Education & Experience
Required
- 2 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
- Experience managing multiple requisitions and competing priorities.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, CRM, case management systems, or similar databases.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage accurate documentation and records.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

- Have experience recruiting for caregiving, direct support, behavioral health, residential services, home health, social services, or nonprofit organizations.
- Have high-volume and/or difficult-to-fill recruiting experience.
