Job summary

Spherion Staffing & Recruiting is hiring a recruiter to join our Madison, WI team. In this role, you'll work with our tenured recruiting team to source, evaluate, and onboard talent for placement with local client partners.

You’ll also collaborate with clients to develop tailored recruitment strategies and support candidates throughout the hiring process. This is a full-time position in Madison with collaboration-driven work from the office and the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication; results-driven and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and evaluate candidates for diverse positions across industries.
• Partner with clients to determine talent objectives, write descriptions, and develop strategies.
• Build pipelines via databases, job boards, networks, and proactive outreach.
• Guide candidates through interview, offers, onboarding, and coaching as needed.
• Maintain client communications on progress, timelines, and market insights.
• Support employees on assignment with check-ins and issue resolution.
• Complete background checks, verifications, and other pre-employment tasks.
• Maintain accurate records in internal systems and stay informed on local hiring trends.
• Represent Spherion at events, networking opportunities, and community activities.

Spherion Staffing & Recruiting is hiring a recruiter to join our growing Madison, WI team. In this role, you'll work as part of our tenured recruiting team to source, evaluate, and onboard talent for placement with local client partners. You’ll also collaborate closely with clients to develop tailored recruitment strategies and support candidates throughout the hiring process.

This is a full-time position based in our Madison office. Because recruiting is highly collaborative and relationship-driven, in this role you will work primarily from the office, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per month.

What you'll do

• Recruit, interview, and evaluate candidates for a variety of positions across many industries
• Partner with clients to determine talent acquisition objectives, write job descriptions, and develop recruitment strategies
• Build talent pipelines using a variety of channels e.g., internal databases, job boards, community organizations, social media, networking, and proactive outreach
• Guide candidates through the client interview, offer, and onboarding process, offering coaching as needed and celebrating their success
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding candidate progress, hiring timelines, and market insights
• Support employees on assignment through check-ins, issue resolution, and ongoing relationship management
• Complete background checks, employment verifications, skills assessments, and other pre-employment activities
• Maintain accurate records in our internal systems
• Stay current on local hiring trends, compensation, and workforce conditions
• Represent Spherion at hiring events, networking opportunities, and community events

What we're looking for

• Prior recruiting and/or business development experience is a plus, but not required
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Results-oriented with a focus on achieving targets
