Job summary

Spherion Staffing & Recruiting is hiring a recruiter to join our Madison, WI team. In this role, you'll work with our tenured recruiting team to source, evaluate, and onboard talent for placement with local client partners.

You’ll also collaborate with clients to develop tailored recruitment strategies and support candidates throughout the hiring process. This is a full-time position in Madison with collaboration-driven work from the office and the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication; results-driven and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and evaluate candidates for diverse positions across industries.
• Partner with clients to determine talent objectives, write descriptions, and develop strategies.
• Build pipelines via databases, job boards, networks, and proactive outreach.
• Guide candidates through interview, offers, onboarding, and coaching as needed.
• Maintain client communications on progress, timelines, and market insights.
• Support employees on assignment with check-ins and issue resolution.
• Complete background checks, verifications, and other pre-employment tasks.
• Maintain accurate records in internal systems and stay informed on local hiring trends.
• Represent Spherion at events, networking opportunities, and community activities.
