Job summary

Avo Photonics, a dynamic contract engineering services company, seeks a diligent Technical Recruiter to build a pipeline of candidates for manufacturing and technical roles. You will collaborate with hiring managers, post roles, review resumes, and actively source qualified candidates, while maintaining strong communication throughout the hiring lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 7 years of high-volume recruiting experience in technical environments and excellent English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or SHRM-CP/PHR certification.
• 7 years of experience recruiting high-volume in manufacturing/technical environments.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand needs and roles to be filled.
• Post approved position descriptions to appropriate platforms.
• Review submitted resumes for openings.
• Identify appropriate candidates and assess qualifications via resumes, phone interviews, and other screening methods.
• Actively source passive candidates qualified for open positions.
• Connect qualified candidates with hiring managers.
• Maintain constant communication with hiring managers to ensure candidate lifecycle.
• Vet credentials, including background checks.
• Extend offers upon hiring manager approval.
• Share signed offer letters with payroll to initiate onboarding and inform start date.
• Attend job fairs and industry conferences.

Members of our staff can design, prototype, and produce next generation products for a diverse range of markets including environmental, medical, automotive, military, industrial, aerospace, and communications.

We seek a diligent, dedicated and enthusiastic Technical Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable meeting new people frequently and have an ability to determine a candidate's potential through clever questions. They should have excellent organizational skills in order to build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates. Additionally, they should be committed to both meeting and exceeding assigned quotas.

Specifically:

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled
• Post approved position description to appropriate platforms
• Review submitted resumes for openings
• Identify appropriate candidates and assess qualifications through resume review, phone interviews, and other screening methods

Requirements:
