Job summary

Avo Photonics is seeking a diligent and self-motivated individual to support hardware testing and data-driven analysis of opto-electronic systems. The role requires attention to detail, strong English communication, and the ability to own tasks from data collection to issue resolution.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, failure analysis, monitoring production test data, and coordinating with clients on bugs and feature requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Excellent data analysis skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot problems in opto-electronic systems by data analysis and observation; validate and document errors, and implement solutions.
• Perform failure analysis and reliability testing on micro-electromechanical systems.
• Assist in qualification of design changes.
• Monitor test performance from the production line through analysis of data pulled from SQL databases.
• Communicate with client to inform them of software bugs and request new/different features in test software.

Specifically:

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Electrical Engineering preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a hardware test environment preferred
• Excellent data analysis skills
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
