Job summary

Hamilton Connections, Inc. in Fairfield, CT is seeking an experienced Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing and skilled trades roles across Connecticut.

You will source, screen and place candidates, coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure successful placements. The role requires strong sourcing, interviewing and candidate assessment skills, with a preference for bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates and prior staffing experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage full recruitment process from requisition to onboarding and follow-up.
• Research and identify qualified candidates using Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, databases, referrals.
• Conduct phone screens and interviews to evaluate fit and compensation expectations.
• Manage multiple job openings across temp, temp-to-hire and direct-hire models.
• Coordinate with clients, HR teams and hiring managers on staffing needs and interviews.
• Coordinate offers, start dates and pre-employment requirements.
• Oversee background checks, drug testing and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and submissions in ATS and client systems.
• Recruit for manufacturing, quality control, skilled trades, warehouse, engineering and professional roles.
• Collaborate with other Hamilton Connections offices to support staffing across CT.

Our Fairfield office is currently seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our team.

Responsibilities and Duties

Manage the full recruitment process from job requisition and candidate sourcing through screening, interviewing, placement, onboarding and follow-up.

Research and identify qualified candidates using Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, internal databases, referrals, networking and other recruiting resources.

Conduct phone screens and interviews to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, availability, compensation expectations and overall fit for client requirements.

Manage multiple job openings simultaneously across temporary, temp-to-hire and direct-hire staffing models while meeting client hiring needs and recruiting deadlines.

Work closely with clients, HR teams and hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, coordinate interviews, provide qualified candidates and support successful placements.

Coordinate job offers, start dates, pre-employment requirements and onboarding activities while maintaining communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.

Coordinate background checks, drug testing, employment verification and other client-specific pre-employment and compliance requirements.

Maintain accurate candidate records, job orders, submissions, interview activity, placement information and required documentation in ATS and client systems.

Recruit for a wide range of positions including manufacturing, quality control, skilled trades, warehouse, logistics, engineering, technical and professional roles.

Collaborate with other Hamilton Connections offices to support client staffing needs and recruit qualified candidates across Connecticut and surrounding markets.

Provide excellent customer service to both candidates and clients while building and maintaining strong professional relationships.

Perform additional recruiting, administrative and account support responsibilities as required.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus.

Prior Full Cycle recruiting or staffing experience.

Strong sourcing, interviewing and candidate assessment skills.

Excellent customer service, communication and relationship-building skills.

Ability to manage multiple job requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
