Job description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Recruiter at Westinghouse on our WECTEC Staffing Services team. The Recruiter role will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and screening applicants for various technical positions, including software engineers, system administrators, computer programmers, and database administrators.

In addition, the Recruiter should expect to be responsible for the following:

1. Source, interview, and select applicants for technical positions.
2. Meet with hiring managers to determine job duties.
3. Match applicants to job openings.
4. Source for future job openings.
5. List job postings on job boards, social media, corporate career websites, and other channels.
6. Call applicants and perform phone screens.
7. Have applicants come in for formal interviews.
8. Explain to applicants the nature of the job and whom they will be speaking with during the interview.
9. Arrange for travel and lodging.
10. Facilitate meetings between hiring manager and applicant.
11. Hand out and grade assessments.
12. Participate in the final selection of applicants.
13. Create a portfolio of candidates for hiring managers.
14. Perform background checks on applicants and identify potential red flags.
15. Initiate drug tests and interpret results.
16. Inform candidates of the company's decision.
17. Compose offer letters and negotiate salary and benefits.
18. Inform applicants not chosen of the company's decision.
19. Keep track of all applications, filing important notations such as gender, race, and ethnicity.
20. Talk with civic, social, and other groups to provide information concerning job possibilities.
21. Travel to colleges to recruit students.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3-5 years of agency and/or corporate recruiting experience including LinkedIn.
