Job summary

Giving Home is looking for an experienced Contract Recruiter to support our talent acquisition team on a six-month assignment, with potential for extension based on business needs. Job description

We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to support our talent acquisition team on a contract basis. This assignment is expected to last approximately six (6) months, with the potential for extension based on business needs.

The Contract Recruiter is a trusted business partner to our Hiring Managers, creating and driving a talent acquisition strategy that supports business needs and growth. The role collaborates with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identifies future hiring needs. Responsibilities include ensuring our company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees while building a strong talent pipeline and supporting hiring for all markets.

This is an onsite/hybrid position located in Albuquerque, NM.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a representative for company activities related to the recruitment and hiring of job applicants for our W2 and 1099 staffing needs.
• Works closely with hiring managers to understand business needs, identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods, and develop/revise job postings, recruitment strategies, and competencies.
• Monitors active job postings both sponsored and on the company website.
• Actively participates in networking events and online platforms to maximize employer branding.
• Proactively seeks opportunities to implement innovative and creative methods to help drive an exceptional candidate experience and a more advanced and efficient recruitment process.
• Travels within the geographic operating footprint of the company to attend recruiting events including job fairs, community events, and other venues likely to result in positive recruiting outcomes.
• Determines the appropriateness of candidates through conversation via in-person or virtual engagement.
• Communicates with local leadership, onboarding specialists, and/or HR leadership about potential candidates.
• Utilizes social media networks and employee referrals to build out the candidate pipeline.
• Performs other comparable and related duties, as assigned.
