Job summary

Spring Creek Rehab and Nursing in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a full-time Activities Assistant to engage residents through therapeutic recreation and events. You will assist the Activity Director, help plan and lead activities, and ensure documentation and supplies are managed efficiently.

The ideal candidate is creative, outgoing, and genuinely interested in improving residents' quality of life. A high school diploma or GED is required, and successful completion of background checks and a drug

Location: 1205 South 28th Street, Harrisburg, PA

Spring Creek is currently looking for full time Activities Assistants during dayshift! We are seeking candidates who have a passion for working with seniors. Applicants should be creative, outgoing, and motivational to our residents in activities and events.

Requirements of the Activities Aide:

• High School diploma or GED
• Must be able to relate professionally and positively to our residents and families and to work cooperatively with others
• A wholehearted individual whose interests lie with our residents, and meeting the recreation program and service needs.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.

Responsibilities of the Activities Assistant:

• Assisting the Activity Director in the development, organization, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive therapeutic recreation services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each resident.
• Complete required documentation, assist with planning and leadership of special events, and maintain activity department supplies and equipment.
