Job summary

Spring Creek Rehab and Nursing in Harrisburg, PA, is seeking a full-time Activities Assistant who loves working with seniors. The ideal candidate is creative, outgoing, and motivates residents through engaging activities and events.

Responsibilities include supporting the Activity Director, organizing therapeutic recreation programs, and assisting with events while maintaining documentation and supplies. A team-oriented culture and commitment to resident well-being are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to relate professionally and positively to our residents and families and to work cooperatively with others.
• A wholehearted individual whose interests lie with our residents, and meeting the recreation program and service needs.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Activity Director in the development, organization, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive therapeutic recreation services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each resident.
• Complete required documentation, assist with planning and leadership of special events, and maintain activity department supplies and equipment.
