Job summary

PruittHealth in Northern Kentucky is seeking an Asst Living Act Asst Non-Licensed professional to help plan, implement, and evaluate recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual activities for residents in line with each person’s care plan.

You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, conduct assessments, schedule activities across mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends, and document progress in the clinical record to support residents’ well-being and rights.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years college education with courses in recreation, education, social work, other behavioral sciences or clinical services.
• Two (2) years’ experience in a social or recreational program within the past five years, with one year full-time employment in a patient/resident activities program in a health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, implementing and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs.
• Interviews residents, family members, legal representatives to develop individualized recreation programs.
• Develops and updates activity plans, coordinates with the interdisciplinary team, and attends care conferences.

Education

Two years college education with courses in recreation, education, social work or related behavioral sciences
