Job summary

Pavilion Healthcare seeks a Recreational Services Aide in Illinois to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating activities aligned with residents’ care plans. The role supports residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being under the supervision of the Recreational Services Director.

Responsibilities include leading activity groups, assisting residents to programs, engaging families, and contributing to assessments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of prior experience in a relevant role, preferred.
• At least one year of experience working in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Implements activity programming as planned and assigned to meet the functional levels, needs and interests of each resident.
• Assists residents to and from activity programs and outings.
• Maintains good rapport with family members and encourages family support in programs.
• Provides input to the assessment and evaluation of the resident’s participation when requested.
• Communicates a resident’s concerns and responses to interventions to immediate supervisor.
• Supports a resident’s individual needs, preferences, customary routines and choices.
• All other duties, as assigned.
