Job summary

Rydal Park, a HumanGood community in Jenkintown, PA, seeks a full-time Recreational Therapy Manager to lead therapy and life enrichment for residents in skilled nursing, personal care, and rehab.

You will oversee assessments, care-plans, program development, and documentation, while guiding a team and coordinating with vendors and partners. Salary ranges from 65k to 75k, with standard weekday hours and occasional evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy or related field with CTRS credential.
• Current CTRS certification required.
• Minimum five years of recreation therapy or life enrichment experience in senior living or healthcare.
• Minimum three years of supervisory/management experience including scheduling and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of recreation therapy and life enrichment services for residents.
• Oversee assessments, care-plan recommendations, and documentation of participation and outcomes.
• Plan programs, events, and outings to support residents’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, scheduling, payroll review, and coaching in partnership with HR and leadership.
