Under supervision, you will create educational, entertaining and challenging activities and outings to enhance quality of life and resident satisfaction.

• Associate degree in recreation, health education or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience, preferably in a geriatric setting.
• Two or more years of direct programming experience with older adults.
• State certification for Activities Leader preferred for skilled nursing.
• CTRS preferred.

Aufgaben

• Plan, implement and monitor wellness and recreation programs for residents.
• Provide programs and events that encourage engagement and socialization.
• Ensure life enrichment programs meet all local, state and federal regulations.
• Plan monthly activity calendars and coordinate in-room programs for bedfast residents.
• Give guidance to and coordinate work of Activity Assistants and volunteers.
• Recruit, train and manage the volunteer program.
